Ready to bring your love of preparing meals for others to the “table”? We are looking for a Cook to join our Food Service Team. You will work directly with the Food Service Director and play an important role in meeting resident dining needs. You will bring your skills in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and approved menus, maintain kitchen and food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition, oversee kitchen operations during assigned shifts, document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration and freezer temperatures, prepare and ensure snacks and beverages are available to residents as required, operate and maintain kitchen equipment according to sanitary standards and work with the Food Service Director in maintaining a high level of service to meet resident needs.

Qualified applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent. Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents in addition to reading and writing English and following recipes and production guides or cleaning schedules. Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare setting and possess the proper permit and training in food handling.

The Registered Nurse Supervisor applying should have at least 1-5 years RN supervisory experience in the Skilled Nursing industry. The candidate must be able to manage others well and work independently. Critical thinking with emphasis on root cause analysis is a must.

 


Part Time Dietary Aide

You will work directly with the Food Service Director and play an important role in meeting resident dining needs. You will bring your skills in preparing meals, maintain kitchen and food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition, assigned kitchen operations during shifts, document temperatures of food prior to service, refrigeration and freezer temperatures, prepare and ensure snacks and beverages are available to residents as required, operate and maintain kitchen equipment according to sanitary standards and work with the Food Service Director in maintaining a high level of service to meet resident needs.
