For those who are terminally ill, we provide compassionate care in a dignified and tranquil setting that is sensitive to both the patient and the family’s needs. Comfort care is provided by our staff, in keeping with the mission of the Sisters of Saint Thomas of Villanova. In addition to our 24 hour medical care, NDCH also partners with Hospice Agencies in the community.
Notre Dame Health and Rehabilitation Center also provides our “Tranquil Moments Program” to all hospice residents. The program offers a private room during the end of life, where family and friends can peacefully experience this transition with dignity and support. Additional amenities, including snack foods for family and friends, spiritual materials and pastoral care, are provided by the facility as a part of this service.
